What We Do?

"She's Sharp" is a mobile (with in 25 miles of FV /EI ) , professional sharpening company located in Fuquay Varina NC and Crystal Coast of NC. Specializing in Japanese style shear sharpening, repairing and restoring fine salon scissors.  "She's Sharp" takes pride in applying the correct edge to the right shear. Convex & Beveled Edge. Sharpener Monika Jaymes was trained by certified master sharpener , John Kuipers owner of "Wicked Sharp Shears", the most well respected shear sharpening business in South Florida. "She's Sharp" also sharpens culinary blades premium hand-made Japanese blades to everyday favorites – and all of them are sharpened to the precise angles that are appropriate for the knife’s intended use, or to the preference of its owner.

Our Pricing

She's Sharp charges per shear and per blade inch for knife blades. We DO NOT sharpen razors or clipper blades.

Facts: Sure, it costs money to have your shears professionally sharpened. But when you consider that professional shear sharpening actually extends the life of your shears, we think you’ll agree it’s a worthy investment. Pricing is a RED flag! Do Not be fooled. "She's Sharp" uses Hira-To advanced flat honed sharpener and Japanese whetstones. Some sharpeners never take your shears apart and will put a general beveled edge on a Japanese shear...... Ask your sharpener what kind of machine and process they are using. The more you know about your shears the better! Time: It generally takes 20-30 mins. per shear point up. SS has loaner shears for you to use while yours are being sharpened!
